Teledyne Reson SeaBat 7160
Unbeatable combination of range, resolution, portability and powerful features

The SeaBat 7160 provides an unbeatable combination of range, resolution, portability and powerful features.

The SeaBat 7160 transducer array is comprised of linear receive and transmit arrays mounted together on a support base. The T-shaped array geometry provides the basis for a compact, high-resolution sonar which is easily installed for portable or hull mounts – a first for a high-resolution system in this frequency range. The system features a pitch-stabilized transmitter and an active roll compensated receiver.

Performance enhancements over the SeaBat 8160 include the addition of 512 high density equi-distant beams, variable swath coverage, beam uncertainty measurement, water column data and many other efficiency enhancing features.

Teledyne Reson SeaBat 8125
Legendary 6mm depth resolution

The new SeaBat 8125-H combines the 8125’s celebrated sonar head with an advanced data processor. Using 256 dynamically focused receive beams, the SeaBat 8125-H cuts a 120-degree swath across the seafloor. The result? Sea-floor detection is reliable, depth resolution is a crisp 6mm, and you can view backscatter intensity in real time on the sonar display.

The 8125-H’s advanced autopilot makes sure you cut the right swath first time every time, so you can focus on your survey data. And roll stabilisation enables you to complete your survey in inclement weather with no loss of accuracy.

For ROV deployment, you can optimise the 8125-H’s high-speed data uplink with a fibre-optic interface.

Teledyne Odom Digibar V
Digital Sound Speed Meter

Designed to provide real-time velocity data to flat array type mulibeam systems, the small size and rugged construction of the Digibar V means it can easily be mounted near the sonar head. Sound velocity is derived using the time of flight measurement method and is accurate to within +/- 0.2 m/sec.

  • Adjustable output format, update and baud rates
  • Compact and easy to install
  • Connection via single underwater cable that both supplies power and returns velocity data
